Nikhil Dwivedi gets into war-of-words with man who called Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt "convicts"

Actor-producer Nikhil Dwivedi got into a war of words on Twitter, not for himself, but for Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The argument started when a Twitter user tweeted that Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt are "convicts", which did not go down well with Nikhil.

The Twitter user tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not have acknowledged the congratulatory messages by Salman and Sanjay. When Nikhil asked him why, the person said, “both are convicts”.

To which Nikhil replied, “Salman Khan has never been convicted. He was exonerated by higher courts. Almost the same way as was PM Modi. Sanjay Dutt served time. So you obviously don't believe in reform? & that a person has a right to start fresh & be absorbed in the society after he has duly undergone punishment?”

The exchange got heated as it went on further.
