Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol tied the knot with Bimal Roy's great granddaughter Drisha Acharya at Mumbai's Taj Lands End on June 18 in the presence of their family members and close friends. The newlyweds have now flown to the mountains for their honeymoon.

Karan took to his Instagram stories to share a few glimpses of the snow-clad mountains and waterfalls. He also shared a picture with Disha while posing in the backdrop of a waterfall. The two looked very happy together as evident from the wide smiles on their faces. Drisha also shared a few pictures from their honeymoon.

The couple's wedding festivities were attended by close friends and relatives. From Salman Khan to Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, and Anupam Kher, who's who of Bollywood marked their presence at the wedding reception of Sunny Deol's son Karan.


Dharmendra's daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from second wife Hema Malini did not attend the functions. However, on Wednesday, Esha dropped a lovely congratulatory message for the newlyweds on social media.

On Friday, Karan dropped a couple of pictures with Drisha from his wedding reception. While Drisha was seen wearing a beautiful floor-length shimmery gown with a small trail at the bottom, Karan opted for a blingy black suit.

Karan's grandfather and veteran actor Dharmendra thanked all the fans and well-wishers for showering the newlyweds with their blessings. "Friends, great full to you all for your good wishes on Karan’s Marriage ceremony," Dharmendra tweeted.

Karan and Drisha have been in a relationship for a long time now. Drisha is a fashion designer. Reportedly, Drisha is the granddaughter of Bimal Roy's daughter, Rinki Bhattacharya, who was married to filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya. Karan followed in his father's footsteps and took acting as a profession. He made his Bollywood debut with Sunny Deol's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas in 2019.
