Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amitabh Bachchan and Shraddha Kapoor: B-Town stars who travelled by public transport

Even though they are celebrities, Bollywood actors hold a common man's element in them. You may have seen them travel in choppers, private jets, fancy cars, and superbikes, but there were times when these talented stars ditched all of this and travelled like normal citizens, via public transportation. Here are some Bollywood celebrities who used rickshaws, trains, buses, and taxis for their travel, whether it was for a film promotion, a random decision, or a social cause.

Leaving luxury cars behind, Nawazuddin Siddiqui travelled by local train in Mumbai, so that he would not get stuck in traffic and reach the event on time. The actor who is very busy these days shooting for his upcoming projects had to attend an event, which was far away from his shoot location. A video of the actor went viral on social media that showed him walking on the railway platform wearing a T-shirt and trousers with a white colour mask.

Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan once travelled in a local train when he took this step for a noble cause - to support a man named Saurabh Nimbkar who took part in a show. Saurabh would sing in trains and give away his earnings to a charity for cancer patients. And when Big B found out about this, he decided to spend some time with Saurabh on a local train and sing with him.

Akshay Kumar

o promote 'Bachchhan Paandey', Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez caught a train from Mumbai's Borivali train station in the city's suburb to reach Delhi. The actor had once taken a metro when he was shooting in Ghatkopar. He wanted to go to Versova which would have taken two hours, five minutes according to the map, so Raj Mehta, the director of 'Good Newwz' suggested him to take the Metro.

Salman Khan

We often get to see pictures of Salman Khan cycling around Bandra. There were times when Salman Khan himself got into autorickshaws and took a ride to Galaxy Apartments. Once, after dinner with his family, Salman Khan went for a quick autorickshaw ride back home with actor Nikhil Dwivedi.
