From Sridevi’s ‘Mom’ to Neena Gupta starrer ‘Badhaai Ho’ and Kriti Sano's 'Mimi' – here are five entertaining Bollywood movies you can watch on streaming platforms with your mom!

Sridevi delivered an impressive performance in this intense revenge drama. As Devki, Sridevi played a vigilante mom and went to great lengths to bring justice to her daughter. This engaging drama also stars acting stalwarts Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles. ‘Mom’ released in 2017 and is currently available on a streaming platform.

Vidya Balan played the most endearing mother to Auro, essayed by Amitabh Bachchan. She beautifully portrayed the character of a loving mother, who tends to a son suffering from a rare genetic condition known as progeria. Vidya and Big B’s camaraderie in this film was warm and earnest. With ‘Paa’, Amitabh Bachchan won his third National Film Award for Best Actor.

Alia Bhatt found the perfect support in her mother, Shamshunissa, essayed by Shefali Shah in this entertainer. As a resilient mother, Shefali went to great lengths to save her daughter from an abusive marriage to Vijay Varma. Moreover, Alia and Shefali’s bonding in ‘Darlings’ was also much appreciated by fans. Alia marked her debut as a producer with this OTT release.

This family drama narrated the story of an unexpected 'good news', as Ayushmann Khurrana’s middle-aged mom Neena Gupta turns pregnant. She goes against all odds to welcome the child and wins the support of her family too. ‘Badhaai Ho’ also starred Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles. The film opened to rave reviews when it released in theatres in 2018 and is now available for viewing on a streaming platform.

As Mimi, Kriti Sanon signs up to be a surrogate for an American couple, who decide to abandon the child later. While she aspires to become an actress, all her plans are put on hold as she lovingly embraces motherhood. Kriti busies herself in bringing up her son with a lot of love and care.
