Meet the woman who played cupid in Pulkit Samrat’s love story

Pulkit Samrat is all set to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Shweta Rohira, on November 2. And guess who played Cupid in their love story — it was none other than Shweta’s mother, Dr Kaajal Rohira, a well-known Tarot card reader and belief orator.

Turns out, Pulkit was a student at Kaajal’s foundation that focuses on holistic therapies and met Shweta when she came to interview him, as part of a project her mother had assigned to her.The actor and his to-be mother-in-law also share a common interest in a non-profit organisation that encourages the revival of dying art forms.
Pulkit acknowledges that she is the reason behind his own transition — be it in his career or personal life. And as he stands on the threshold of what he describes as “an exciting career”, he credits the two women in his life, Kaajal and Shweta, for being his true strength.
