Early Bollywood debut and initial setbacks

Tamannaah Bhatia began her acting career at the age of 16 in the Hindi romance film ‘Chand Sa Roshan Chehra’ in 2005, which was ultimately unsuccessful. The film never recovered its budget and did not earn even Rs 1 crore. Tamannaah had other attempts in Bollywood including ‘Entertainment’, 'Humshakals', and ‘Himmatwala’, yet all attempts to get established in the industry never turned into a major success. So, she turned her ambition towards regional films.

2/5

Strong success in Tamil and Telugu cinema

After not having success in the Bollywood film industry, Tamannaah had great success in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She starred in several films which had box office success such as 'Veeram,' '100% Love,' 'Jailer,' 'Happy Days,' 'F3: Fun and Frustration,' 'Siruthai,' and 'Baahubali' films. These successes made Tamannaah one of the most bankable actresses in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. She has even earned a position as one of the highest-paid actresses in Tollywood and Kollywood. She has proven to have box office impact multiple times and gathered a pan-South Indian fanbase.

3/5

Pan-India breakthrough with the ‘Baahubali’

Tamannaah’s role as Avantika in SS Rajamouli’s epic series 'Baahubali' amplified her national stature. She starred opposite Prabhas’ Mahendra Baahubali as a fierce warrior with emotional depth. "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" later set records in history as the first Indian film to gross Rs 1000 crore worldwide in 2017. The franchise's monumental success assured an eternal placement in the history of Indian cinema. Her role in the "Baahubali" films is still her most recognized performance to date.

4/5

Impressive wealth and brand value

As stated by DNA, according to multiple media reports, Tamannaah has a net worth of over Rs 120 crore. She earns Rs 4-5 crore per film and charges around Rs 1 crore for special dance numbers. Tamannaah's luxury collection features luxury cars includes the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW 320i and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. She also owns a lavish home in Versova, Mumbai. Her financial success demonstrates her long-standing demand around industries and brand endorsements.

5/5

Aiming for a strong Bollywood comeback

Having made waves with back-to-back hit dance numbers in 'Bads of Bollywood', 'Stree 2' and 'Raid 2', Tamannaah is looking to make a fruitful return as leading lady in Bollywood. She has an exciting slate of continual upcoming projects across genres including 'Ranger' opposite Ajay Devgn, 'Vvan' with Sidharth Malhotra and an untitled Rohit Shetty film with John Abraham. She is also part of the ensemble cast in comedy sequel 'No Entry 2'. Tamannaah is looking to find her presence back in mainstream Hindi cinema with these upcoming projects.
