Kriti Sanon opens up about box office failure of Sushant Singh starrer 'Raabta': 'I don't like calling it...'

Kriti Sanon shared the screen space with late Sushant Singh Rajput for the first time in 'Raabta'. Although the audience appreciated their onscreen chemistry, the film tanked at the box office.

In an interviw with Film Companion, Kriti said that she refrains from labeling 'Raabta' as a failure. Instead, she views it as a significant growth opportunity in her acting journey. Being her third Hindi film, it featured complex characters, offering her a chance to delve into layered roles and immerse herself in thorough preparation for the first time.



Further, she shared that the experience taught her various skills, including horse riding, overcoming her fear of underwater scenes, chocolate making, among others. Kriti emphasized how her approach to the character evolved, leading to more organic and authentic delivery of dialogues as she grew throughout the process.




Sanon expanded on her experience, emphasizing the invaluable lessons learned on set. She highlighted the film's significance in her career and personal growth, expressing gratitude for the impact it had on her acting skills and overall development.
