This week Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer ‘Phone Bhoot’ was announced while it was also revealed that Deepika Padukone will be romancing Prabhas on the silver screen. Reports also stated that Kangana Ranaut is likely to finally record her statement in the case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, while fans also fondly remembered the actor in a silent online meet. Kangana Ranaut has willingly expressed that she wants to register her statement as part of the ongoing investigation related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. According to a Times Now report, the Mumbai police had approached the actress at her Khar office but she was unavailable and her manager too didn’t provide details. However, later her lawyer revealed that Kangana Ranaut has been sent a notice by the Mumbai police to record her statement. The actress is likely to register The statement soon, after the conflict in summon.

Sushant Singh Rajput fans engaged in a silent campaign this week by the name of #Candle4SSR. It seemed like Ankita Lokahande had extended support to the same as she lit a diya in front of idols of Jesus and Lord Ganesha and captioned her post, “HOPE, PRAYERS AND STRENGTH!!! Keep smiling wherever you are.” Kangana Ranaut had also lit a candle, picture of which was shared by Kangana Ranaut’s team on Twitter.

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter starrer ‘Phone Bhoot’ was announced this week and the cheerful cast promised fans that it would be a ‘one stop shop for all bhoot related problems’. The team released entertaining posters with the announcement stating that they had shot for the first look poster before lockdown and social distancing norms were implemented. Along with the announcement of the film, it was also revealed that ‘Phone Bhoot’ will hit the screens in 2021. The horror comedy will be directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment.

This week it was also announced that Deepika Padukone will romance Prabhas in National award-winning filmmaker Nag Ashwin’s next venture. The yet-to-be titled film is a sci-fi drama and will be mounted on a massive scale. The film will be a visual spectacle and will be released in Hindi as well as other South languages."Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the main highlights of the film and the story between them will remain in the audiences’ hearts for many years to come,” Nag Ashwin had told ETimes.

After reports suggested that Amitabh Bachchan had tested negative for Covid-19, the veteran actor denied the same. A source close to the veteran actor had confirmed to ETimes that Big B had not tested negative for Covid-19 and an avid social media user Big B had also clarified the same on Twitter. Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to a city hospital on July 12, after he tested positive for Coronavirus. Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya had also tested positive for Covid-19 and are currently admitted to the same hospital.
