Actress
Kangana Ranaut is all set for her upcoming film ‘Thalaivii’ to release on September 10. Talking about the film, she recently revealed how one scene of the film bears an ‘uncanny’ resemblance with an incident in her life.
During an interview with a journalist, Kangana recalled the time when the film team was shooting the assault scene of Jayalalithaa in the assembly.
Calling it ‘uncanny’, she went on to add that it was exactly the same time when
Shiv Sena was ‘breaking’ her house in Mumbai.
“I felt like real and reel life are clashing into each other” she said.
Last year, the
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was spotted demolishing alleged unauthorised constructions at Kangana Ranaut's property at Pali Hill of Bandra, Mumbai.
On the other hand, late J Jayalalithaa emerged as the first woman in the state to ever occupy the role of the leader in opposition. Before becoming one of the strongest political figures from Tamil Nadu, she was assaulted in the
Tamil Nadu state legislative assembly where even her saree was torn.
Helmed by director AL Vijay, ‘Thalaivii’ stars Kangana in the lead role of actor-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa. Apart from her, the film also star Arvind Swami, Bhagyashree, Madhoo and others in pivotal roles.
