Actor
Irrfan Khan, who was going to team up with
Kangana Ranaut in 'Divine Lovers', said that the National Award winning actress has gone out of reach and if a script comes wherein she plays the hero, he would do it. There were reports that Irrfan, 49, and Kangana, 29, would come together for director Sai Kabir's next 'Divine Lovers'. However, Kangana left the movie in December 2015, citing date issues.
Now,
Zareen Khan has replaced the 'Queen' actress.
"I don't know if I would be able to do 'Divine Lovers' or not as it comes and goes," Irrfan told reporters at the trailer launch of 'Madaari'. "Kangana has gone so out of reach that I will work with her only if I wish to be a heroine. So, if a script comes along wherein she plays the hero and I the heroine, I will do it," he said sarcastically when asked about losing an opportunity of teaming up with Kangana.
'Divine Lovers' revolves around the lower middle-class section of society and is set in the heartland of India. The film is an adventure comedy, the shoot of which starts in September.
