Kalki Koechlin share warm wishes for newlyweds Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire: “You’re just kids”

Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, has tied the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Shane Gregoire. The couple celebrated their wedding on December 11 in a beautiful ceremony held in Mumbai. Notably, Kalki Koechlin, Anurag's ex-wife who had also attended the wedding has now shared heartfelt wishes and memorable moments from the wedding on her social media.

Kalki Koechlin shared several photos and videos from the wedding on her Instagram account. In her long heartfelt message to Aaliyah and Shane, she included quotes from various literary works that encapsulated love and life’s journey. She wrote: “All I got is a bunch of stuff other people said. You’re ‘Just Kids…”

She further said, “Wish you guys all the ‘ishq, pyaar and mohabbat’ in the world (like the theme of a thousand Bollywood films)”

The wedding was a picturesque affair filled with love as Aaliyah wore a stunning pastel pink lehenga designed by Tarun Tahiliani, while Shane complemented her look with a regal golden sherwani. To enhance her bridal ensemble, Aaliyah adorned herself with an exquisite emerald and diamond choker along with matching earrings. The delicate colors of her outfit were beautifully accentuated by her jewelry, adding a touch of royal charm. Traditional elements like bangles and a maang tikka completed her bridal look.

After their intimate ceremony, the newlyweds made their first public appearance at a star-studded reception. For this event, Aaliyah opted for a striking black skirt paired with a golden corset top, while Shane looked dapper in a classic black suit.

The wedding festivities were attended by many notable personalities from the film industry. Among the guests were newlyweds Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and several others.
