Iulia Vantur’s special Xmas wish for her fans

Iulia Vantur, who will soon make her Bollywood debut, was unable to fly back home to Romania this year to celebrate Christmas with her family. Instead, the actor-singer spent the festive season in Mumbai with friends. In an Instagram post, she posted three videos of herself at a party and captioned it, ‘Merry Christmas my dear friends! We have a very beautiful tradition in Romania.We visit our dear ones, our neighbours and sing carol songs for them, along with our best thoughts and wishes. I use to do this since childhood and I still do it for my parents, even if I’m not there in person. My heart is there with all my dear people and I sing for them every single year. On the professional front, Iulia Vantur’s debut film ‘Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala’ may have faced some initial setbacks, but the film is back on track now. The film’s makers had decided to end their association with casting director Vicky Sidana after he was accused of sexual misconduct by actress Kritika Sharma.
In a recent interview, Iulia confirmed that her debut film was very much on and that it would go on floors after director Prem Soni completes his current assignment. The film has been in the news for various reasons. It was announced almost a year ago, but shooting failed to begin. Apart from the Vicky Sadana controversy, the Mumbai Economic Offences Wing arrested three of the film's producers including Prerna Arora in a fraud case. The police said that the three had borrowed money from producer Vashu Bhagnani for films such as ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Kedarnath’, but failed to give it back, leading to legal cases. Iulia said that the project had to be put on hold temporarily because of all these problems, but shooting would soon commence.
