Is Sanjay Dutt roped in to play a blind villain in Hera Pheri 3? Here's what we know

The ball has started rolling for Hera Pheri 3. The much talked about sequel of one of Bollywood's most loved comedy franchise went on floors last week and contrary to reports, Akshay Kumar seems to be very much a part of the film. He shot for the promo with Shetty and Paresh Rawal who will be reprising their roles of Raju, Shyam and Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. Another development that came to light was the exit of Anees Bazmee as director who was replaced by Farhad Samji.

The latest buzz in the grapevine suggests that Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the villain in the film. Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying that Sanjay has signed the dotted line and he’ll be playing one of the antagonists in the film. The report further stated that his character will be blind and quirky that will add to the madness quotient of the Hera Pheri series.

Unconfirmed reports also suggest that Arshad Warsi too has joined the cast and if this turns out to be true, fans will be excited to see the jodi of Munnabhai and Circuit back on screen together.

Meanwhile Anees Bazmee said that he opted out of the project as Firoz Nadiadwala didn’t have much of a story. He further said that he did not quite like the idea that the producer shared, so he turned the offer down.
