Indian writers present their works in US

washington: a packed audience attended a book reading by celebrated indian writer amitav ghosh of his latest novel ''the glass palace'' at the indian embassy here. ghosh''s book reading recently was a part of the popular series being jointly sponsored by indian embassy and the asia society in washington since the beginning of this year, the embassy release said.in the inaugural event in january, vikram chandra read from his work in progress and in february, shashi tharoor read from his latest novel ''riot''. as part of the series anjana appachanna will present her work on april 25.
