​Several Indian cricketers have ventured into acting. While not all transitions were equally successful, these cricketers added a unique dimension to their careers by exploring the world of cinema.

Stylish left handed batter Yuvraj Singh worked in movie Mehndi Shagna Di as a child artist.

Shikhar recently made his debut in movie with Double XL which featured names like Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi.

Vinod has worked in multiple films like Annarth, Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaat.

Ajay made his debut with Suniel Shetty's film Khel, which had Sunny Deol playing the lead role. He was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Sunny Gavaskar made his debut in movies with a Marathi film Savli Premachi, he also did a cameo in Malamaal with Nasseruddin Shah.

Sandeep made his debut in movies with a film called Kabhi Ajnabi The, the film had Poonam Dhillon in the lead.

Irrfan made his debut as an actor in a film called Cobra but before that he was a contestant on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.

Harbhajan first made it to the big screen in Salman Khan-Akshay Kumar starrer Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, since then he has appeared in cameos in films like Bhaji In Problem, Second Hand Husband etc. He made his full fledged debut as an actor in a Tamil film called Friendship.
