Here’s all you need to know about Rashmika Mandanna, who will be making her Bollywood debut soon

After taking the South industry by a storm with her stunning beauty and brilliant performances, Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make an entry into Bollywood. While she is yet to make her debut with ‘Mission Majnu’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra, she has already bagged her second film, ‘Goodbye’ co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Rashmika made her big acting debut at the age of 19 with the Kannada film, ‘Kirik Party’ which released in 2016. In the film, she shared screen space with Rakshit Shetty. The film received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. The young actress received a lot of fame and recognition for her turn in the film and was soon dubbed as ‘Karnataka crush’.

After her schooling in Kodagu, a district in Karnataka, she pursued a pre-university course in Mysuru. The actress also reportedly pursued a Bachelor's degree in psychology, journalism, and English literature. Along with her studies, Rashmika also pursued a career in modeling and appeared in several ad films too.

Rashmika garnered immense love and appreciation for her performance in ‘Kirik Party’ and her chemistry with her co-star Rakshit Shetty was the talk-of-the-town. After working together, love blossomed between the actors, who later got engaged in 2017 in a private affair in their hometown. In 2018, however, the couple mutually parted ways for reasons best known to them.

Rashmika is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with ‘Mission Majnu’. Being directed by Shantanu Bagchi, it stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. The actors have already started shooting for the film. While the shoot of her first film is still on, the Southern beauty has already bagged her second film with Amitabh Bachchan. Titled, ‘Goodbye’, the film is being directed by Vikas Bahl.
