Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja spotted with her son Yashvardhan Ahuja on Valentine's Day, tells paps, 'Sir apne valentine ke saath hai'
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been happily married for 37 years, having tied the knot on March 11, 1987. The couple shares two children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, Sunita was spotted in the city with her son Yashvardhan, charming the paparazzi with her lively and humorous nature.
Dressed elegantly in a red outfit, Sunita looked stunning, while Yashvardhan sported a casual yet stylish look in a white shirt, denim jacket, and baggy pants. As they posed for the cameras, the paparazzi inquired about Govinda’s whereabouts. In her signature witty style, Sunita quipped, "Sir apne valentine ke saath hai." She quickly added, "Aisa waisa kuch mat samajhna. Wo apne kaam se bohot pyaar karte hai na, to kaam unka valentine hai."
Last month, Sunita shared some candid revelations about their marriage and Govinda’s personality. Reminiscing about their early days, she disclosed that she had a tomboyish appearance when she first met Govinda, often wearing skirts and keeping her hair short. She recalled how he would jokingly refer to her as a boy. Sunita further revealed that she was the one who took the initiative in their relationship, as Govinda was too shy even to touch women. Despite this, she admitted that he is not particularly romantic in real life.
She also shed light on their unique living arrangement, explaining that they mostly reside in separate homes. Govinda frequently stays at their bungalow, as his meetings and gatherings often extend late into the night.
When asked about Govinda’s romantic side, Sunita humorously remarked, "I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn't go on holiday. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working... I don't recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie."
Reflecting on their years together, Sunita acknowledged how her sense of security in their marriage has evolved. She admitted that while she once felt secure when Govinda worked with actresses like Raveena Tandon and Karishma Kapoor, she is now more cautious. "I used to feel secure earlier in our marriage, but now I don't," she said with a laugh. "Kya hai na saath (60) ke baad log sathiya bhi jaate hai na... (After 60, people even lose their senses) He has crossed 60, you never know what he does..." she told Hindi Rush.
