Amitabh Bachchan discharged from hospital post angioplasty, recovering at home now - Exclusive

On Friday it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan has been hospitalised and he underwent an angioplasty. The actor was admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in suburban Mumbai. However, the angioplasty was not done on his heart but on a clot in his leg. Sharing details about Big B's health scare, a source told ETimes, "He was admitted to the hospital on Friday morning.The angioplasty was done and now he is back home and recovering."
Amitabh Bachchan tweeted few hours ago, saying, "in gratitude ever ..", seemingly expressing that the operation had gone well and that he was safe and hearty.


Several fans were also worried and have poured in recovery wishes for him. A fan wrote, "I pray that you stay healthy." Many fans also commented on his last tweet and wished him a speedy recovery as they await a next tweet from him soon regarding his health update. Someone said, "Wishes for your speedy recovery Sir, post-angioplasty! 🙏"
