Exclusive! Aahana Kumra: London is beautiful right now, I went to Hyde Park and Abbey Road

Aahana Kumra is sure having a fun time mixing

travel

with work right now. She is in

London

and has been soaking up the sights and sounds there. She shared a peek into all the fun she’s having, with Bombay Times. Says Aahana, “I’ve been in London shooting for a film and it’s so nice. I’m staying very close to

Hyde Park

, so I go there for my walks and runs. I also came across the swans there, which was so sweet.” The weather is a plus and she’s totally enjoying her time outdoors. Informs the

Bollywood

actress, “It’s just so beautiful outside. It is summer in London right now and everything is bright. I like to stroll around and catch all that when I’m not shooting.”

'I never imagined that I would be able to watch the match at Lord's'

Being a

cricket

fan, she also had the opportunity to catch a match at one of the world’s best cricket venues. She adds, “Fortunately, I got the chance to go to Lord’s and watch the India-England series on Independence Day. I caught the historic win and could not have asked for anything better than that. I never in my life imagined that I would be able to watch the match at Lord's and I am so grateful to be able to so. I have to say that it’s a different feeling being there on the stands, watching with others, cheering and singing songs.”

Aahana's doing the restaurant trails, pub crawls and making a visit to well-known bookstores. She also recently went to Abbey Road, which has the famous

Beatles

' zebra crossing. Says Aahana, “That was really some experience! They have opened the

Abbey Road

studios to the public after 90 years, so it made for such an amazing time. We did a walk and photo tour and I took a lot of pictures of that as well.” Looks like there's more to come from her London sojourn!
