Don't accept corruption: Naseer

The actor pleads all Indians to stop accepting corruption as a way of life
Don't accept corruption: Naseer
The noble cause that social activist Anna Hazare has taken up has been getting a lot of attention and support from all across India.
Film personalities too are extending their support to the fight against corruption. Talking about the issue that has united India once more after the World Cup victory, film veteran Naseeruddin Shah said, “We have started accepting corruption as a way of life. We don’t think twice or feel bad about handing over Rs. 50 to a traffic cop or Rs. 50 crore to a neta.
“We as Indians don’t hitch before bribing somebody as we think 'yeh toh chalta hai, yeh toh hota he hai'. In the process we are forgetting that it happens because we let it happen and it will never stop till we don’t stop it,” he said.
Further commenting on the attempt by Anna Hazare, Naseer said, “What Anna Hazare is doing will definitely bring about a positive change in the way the system works. However, it needs to be seen that the Lokpal Bill doesn’t reduce to just an eyewash for more corrupt people to flourish.”
Naseeruddin also urged the youth to shift focus towards issues important for India’s growth. “The need of the hour is for the youth of this country to awaken and fight against corruption. Only that and nothing else can help India become a corruption free nation,” he signed off.
