’ based on the life of hockey legend Sandeep Singh recently hit the theatres. The film has not only been appreciated by the audience but the critics too. The schools across the nation have been screening ‘Soorma’ for school kids.
As the film has connected well with the masses, educational institutes have been screening the same for their students to inspire them through Sandeep’s story. Chitrangda Singh herself took to Twitter to acknowledge the same. She wrote, "This is by far the best review for #Soorma! Touching so many hearts and inspiring people everyday with this brave story. ‘Soorma’ is a story inspired by a real story of hockey legend Sandeep Singh, who was accidentally shot with a bullet and was paralyzed for 2 years. But his determination and love for the game brought him back and he won several medals for our country.
