Did you know Ranveer Singh had once scored minus 10 in his school maths exam?

Coming up on July 28 is Ranveer Singh’s next big film, Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In a recent promotional event for the film, he ended up sharing a genuine anecdote from his school days and had the audience in splits. He asked the audience whether anyone there had ever got less than zero out of hundred in an exam. Then, he declared confidently.“Mein laaya hun!” He then told them that he had scored zero out of hundred for his maths exam, including minus 10 for talking.

A clip from this talk was shared by a paparazzo on Instagram and is now going viral. The clip seems to have a bearing on his upcoming film’s plot where he plays a happy go lucky Punjabi boy from a rich family while Rani played by Alia Bhatt comes from a Bengali household where things like knowledge, intelligence and learning are held as supreme values.
Karan Johar, who is directing the film has described the film’s plot as emanating from a real life family anecdote that he had heard from his later father, Yash Johar. The film with this plot, played by the talented Ranveer and Alia promises to be fun and entertaining.
