Did Nagesh, Akshay fight?

Afterall the hassles and delays, Nagesh Kukunoor���s action thriller movie, 8x10 Tasveer, is finally ready to hit the screens on April 3.
This will be a day before multiplexes stop releasing Bollywood films due to the stand-off between producers and distributors regarding revenue-sharing. But the director, often described as a maverick, is not worried.���The outcome of the movie remains to be seen. If the movie is good, audiences will come. The fact that no movie will be released after April 4 might help, but I don���t want the strike to continue. It���s a loss for the audience and messes up things for everyone concerned,��� he says.
And this is not the only glitch associated with the movie. During the making of the film, many in the unit faced visa problems and could not go abroad for the shoot. So much so that the film was believed to be jinxed. ���Akshay and I are not superstitious,��� laughs Nagesh. ���There were reports that the name of the film was changed to 8x10 Tasveer because of some superstition, but it���s not true. Originally, the film was called just 8x10, then we called it Tasveer to relate to the Indian audience. However, we finally decided on 8x10 Tasveer, but not for any superstitious reasons,��� he says.
Nagesh also denies that there was a tiff between him and Akshay Kumar during the filming. ���One day, my dad called up asking me about this huge ���fight��� I had with Akshay. I was surprised because I was shooting with him then in South Africa and no one had ���reportedly��� walked out. But I���ve learnt that conflicts make for good publicity, so it���s ok,��� he says.
Talking about his relationship with actor Shreyas Talpade, often called Nagesh���s lucky mascot, the director says there���s no cold war between him and the actor. ���I can���t have Shreyas in every movie I make. 8x10 is an action thriller and Akshay was my first choice because he is good in action roles. Shreyas is a fabulous actor, but the role has to suit him first. And he has no special appearance in the film,��� confirms Nagesh.
