'Dhoom' actress Rimi Sen is now a real estate agent in Dubai; looks unrecognisable in latest viral video, here's what she had said about plastic surgery rumours
Rimi Sen did very few films but the roles she played were quite impactful and the audience continues to remember her despite the fact she's not done a movie for a while. Rimi known for movies like 'Dhoom', 'Hungama', 'Phir Hera Pheri', 'Johnny Gaddar' among others has been away from the movies and is now a real estate agent in Dubai. Her latest video has gone viral on the internet and fans just couldn't recognise her. It also sparked rumours of plastic surgery. In a recent interview, she spoke about her decision to move to Dubai and joining real estate.
She said during an interview with Buildcaps Real Estate LLC, “Dubai is very welcoming, which is why 95% of the population here consists of expatriates, while the rest are Emiratis. Dubai has welcomed everyone warmly, there are mosques here, there are temples too. They think about everyone, and the city’s major focus is on how to make people’s lives better, easier, and more comfortable."
Talking about how the market functions in Dubai, she said, “The real estate market here functions smoothly because there is discipline. You have to work only with agents and agencies. Developers do their work, agencies do their part, there is a proper system in place.” She also pointed out the stark contrast in how property agents are perceived, saying that in Dubai they are treated on par with financial consultants, while in India the perception is very different. “In India, if you ask for two months’ brokerage, people look at you as if you have committed a crime," she said.
With some of her photos and videos going viral on social media, Rimi had addressed rumours of plastic surgery in an interview earlier. She had clarified that while she's not undergone any plastic surgery, she has done filler and botox. "If people feel that I have had plastic surgery, and if they feel that in a good way, then it’s very good for me. Without even getting plastic surgery done, people are still talking. I have only had fillers, botox, and PRP treatment done, nothing else," she said during a chat with HT City.
She added further, “One shouldn’t need to get plastic surgery done unless someone is on the run after committing a crime! There are so many excellent doctors outside India who are very good at facelifts. I too want to get it done, but I will think about it after I cross the age of 50. For now, these treatments are sufficient.”
Responding to those criticising her appearance, Rimi had said, “Maybe people saw my latest pictures and felt that my skin looked good. Anyone can look good by using these treatments and maintaining discipline. But if you think what I have done is bad, then tell me how I can correct it, so I can tell my doctors where they are going wrong.”Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
