Deepika Padukone in Goa to Akshay Kumar in Scotland – Here's where Bollywood celebrities are shooting

Bollywood is back on its feet and how! Celebrities are not just stepping out for dubbing and commercial shoots, but are travelling great lengths to shoot their movies and wrap projects - all to dish out entertainment on the big screen. From Aamir Khan travelling to Turkey to Akshay Kumar busy wrapping up ‘Bell Bottom’ in Scotland – here’s taking a look at where Bollywood actors are busy shooting these days.

Akshay Kumar – Scotland

Akshay Kumar and team of ‘Bell Bottom’ travelled to Scotland in August and were joined by the film’s leading lady Vaani Kapoor in September. The team will reportedly be shooting there for a long schedule. ‘Belll Bottom’ is an espionage thriller and is directed by Ranjit M Tewari. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 2, 2021.

Deepika Padukone – Goa

Deepika Padukone headed to Goa over the weekend to shoot for Shakun Batra’s next film. The team was initially supposed to shoot in Sri Lanka but their schedule was postponed because of the pandemic. “Since shooting in Sri Lanka is not feasible, they changed the setting to Goa which has a similar landscape of beaches and vintage churches. The entire team will be in Goa for over a month and will shoot at real locations,” a source had previously informed Mumbai Mirror.

Aamir Khan – Turkey

Last month Aamir Khan had travelled to Turkey to shoot for his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Before the lockdown was imposed, Aamir had been working on the film with Kareena Kapoor Khan, shooting across India. In the coming days, Kareena is expected to return to the sets with Aamir in Mumbai and wrap up her portion before taking a pregnancy break. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is the official remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ and will hit the screens in December 2021.

Mouni Roy – London

Mouni Roy was UAE for nearly four months, she had gone there for a shoot but decided to extend her stay and was stuck there due to the lockdown. And while she is yet to return to India, Mouni took off to London in July to shoot for a film. She has been shooting with Purab Kohli and often shares glimpses of her life in the UK capital.
