Deepika Padukone emphasizes the importance of 'quality time' in marriage with Ranveer Singh
Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has been making waves in the film industry. When it is not her many film projects, it is her marriage to Ranveer Singh that makes headlines. Over the past weeks, there has been heighted scrutiny over her relationship with Singh, following revelations made during her appearance on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee with Karan.
In her latest interview, the actress, who is the Indian ambassador for a luxury international jewellery brand, highlighted the paramount importance of spending quality time with her husband.
The actress, candidly shared insights into her marriage and acknowledged the challenges posed by their demanding careers.
Deepika emphasized the need for prioritizing 'quality' time together. She explained, "Spending time with my husband is very important to me. In our professions, where one of us can be traveling for a month or sometimes he might have a late night and I have an early morning..."
"It's not the quantum but the quality of time we have together," she added.
Besides being asked about her personal life, the actress was also quizzed about whether she attributes her success to her 'no-nonsense beginnings'. Padukone replied, “Oh, 100 per cent. Nobody can question my work ethic and I’m fiercely protective of what I’ve built because it’s all my own.”
On the professional front, Deepika and hubby Ranveer Singh will come together to star in Rohit Shetty's upcoming cop flick Singham Again. The actress also ha a bunch of interesting films lining up for their release. These include 'Fighter' and Kalki 2898 AD.
