Kareena Kapoor Khan's look in 'Udta Punjab' is a complete departure from her earlier avatars. The gorgeous actress plays a doctor who leaves a cushy life and moves to the heartland of Punjab to tackle the drug menace.

BT Exclusive: Shahid Kapoor in 'Udta Punjab'

'Udta Punjab' portrays the real issue of drug abuse the state of Punjab is reeling under since last few years. Produced by Phantom Pictures, the film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey of 'Ishqiya' and 'Dedh Ishqiya' fame. It also stars Shahid Kapoor and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who is making his Bollywood debut.
