Darr @ the Mall (2014)

This Bollywood horror-thriller was loosely inspired by Korean horror movies and the popular The Mall setting in Korean films. It combined jump scares and suspense, taking cues from Korean horror’s atmospheric storytelling.

2/5

Jeet (1996)

Inspired by Korean romantic dramas, Jeet adapted the intense emotions and tragic love story style often seen in Korean cinema, though with a distinct Bollywood flavor.

3/5

Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009)

Inspired by the Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters (2003), Raaz: The Mystery Continues adapted the eerie psychological horror elements for Indian audiences, blending supernatural suspense with Bollywood-style drama.

4/5

Taxi No. 9211 (2006)

Loosely inspired by the Korean film Taxi Driver (not the Korean version of Scorsese’s film but a local Korean production), this Bollywood thriller combined suspense and humor in a taxi driver’s adventurous tale.

5/5

Ugly (2013)

Though not a direct remake, Ugly was influenced by Korean noir thrillers, incorporating intense emotional drama and gritty storytelling styles commonly found in Korean cinema.
