new delhi: haimanti banerjee's balgandharva will be the inaugural film of the non-feature film category of the panorama section of the 32nd international film festival of india(iffi), 2001, to be held in bangalore this october. the indian panorama non-feature film jury headed by prema karanth presented the list of films selected to information and broadcasting minister sushma swaraj on wednesday. the other films selected in the section are ajopa gacha directed by ranjit ray, bahsa by suprito sen, lokapriya by arun khopkar, dr rajkumar-the living legend by s k bhagwan, from the land of buddha to the land of buddhism by shalini shan, a memory of the sea, by lygia mathews, wearing the face by josy joseph, a man of silence- sardar vallabhai patel by putul mahmood, scribbles on akka by madhusree dutta, nanga jenu, nanga karadi nanga ajja by vinod raja, deanarthakan by sudish gopalakrishnan, egotic world by vipin vijay, landscape by ravi jadhav, mathi by b lenin, news magazine-438-tulasi by raj gopal rao, bhor by ritubarna ghudgar and nottom by m r rajan. rasikpriya and dui patan ke beech mein have been selected for being the best non-feature films of the 47th and 48th national film awards. the members of the jury are mike pandey, b b nagpal, pankaj butalia and m c raja narayanan.
