1x1 polls
I feel nothing, but gratitude and validation as an actor and artiste. I have always believed that content is king and have chosen subjects that were off the beaten track because I wanted to give the audience something unique, something that makes them curious to go and watch a film in the theatre. I chose these films because they were hugely entertaining and simply good cinema. It feels great that your choices and beliefs are validated. It has been the best year of my life till now.”
It is not every day that an outsider becomes a popular name in Bollywood. Ayushmann has managed to do that with his acting skills and his instinct in choosing unconventional scripts. Ayushmann adds, “It is not easy to be an outsider and find your feet in Bollywood. I’ve been lucky that some of the best directors believed in me and I’m thankful to the audience for accepting me and allowing me to entertain them. I will continue doing so.”
