NEW DELHI: The best of Asian films would be in Delhi to be showcased at the 'Cinefan' film festival beginning July 19.

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">NEW DELHI: The best of Asian films would be in Delhi to be showcased at the ''Cinefan'' film festival beginning July 19.<br />The 10-day ''Fourth Cinemaya Festival of Asian Cinema'' will have seven sections including a special section on ''tolerance'', Aruna Vasudeva, Director Cinefan, told reporters here on Wednesday.<br />"The tolerance section was deliberately selected to be a part of the festival as it was felt to be the need of the hour," she said.<br />Egypt will be theme in this year''s festival as "it is politically part of Afro-Asia though not geographically," Vasudeva said.

<br />Among the films from Egypt would be noted Egyptian film-maker Yusuf Shaheen''s celebrated movie <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Destiny</span>.<br />Out of the eight movies in the Indian section only one movie, ''Demolition Man'' will be included in the competition section, she added. <br />Apart from movies, the festival would also include conference of directors on "Changing themes of Asian Cinema seen through changes in family" and release of book <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Being and Becoming: The Cinemas of Asia</span>. </div> </div>
