Anees Bazmee reveals about 'Entry 2' says, '100 percent the film is happening'
Director Anees Bazmee confirms that No 'Entry 2' is on track despite scheduling challenges and cast changes. Amid months of speculation surrounding 'No Entry 2', director has confirmed that the much-awaited sequel is very much on track. While the project has seen a few hurdles along the way, Bazmee confirmed that the team remains committed to bringing the much-awaited comedy sequel to the big screen.In a conversation with HT City, Bazmee refrained from revealing too many details about the film but firmly dismissed any doubts about its future. When asked whether the sequel was still happening, he says, “100 percent the film is happening.”Bazmee addressed the delay and explained that it was mainly a matter of timing. "Kuch filmon ki kundli hoti hai. Main maanta hoon ki kundli hoti hai. Kabhi koi film jaldi ban jaati hai, kabhi der se banti hai. Lekin Inshallah, hum sabki koshish hai ki yeh film bane.” ( Some films have their own destiny. I truly believe that every film has a destiny of its own. Some movies get made quickly, while others take time. But God willing, all of us are making every effort to ensure that this film gets made.)Expressing his confidence in the script, he believes that No Entry is one the strongest screenplays he has written.
“Maine is film ko bahut pyaar se likha hai. Yeh meri best-written films mein se ek hai. Thoda waqt lagg raha hai par film zaroora aa bann rahi hai.”Further the director stated that the excitement among those associated with the film remains intact. “Jo bhi log is film se jude hue hain, sab bahut excited hain. Aur log is film ko bahut pasand karenge,” ("Everyone associated with this film is extremely excited. And I'm confident that audiences are going to love this film very much.")'No Entry 2' has been making headlines due to its constantly changing cast. The sequel was initially announced by producer Boney Kapoor with Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. However, reports of scheduling conflicts soon surfaced, leading to several casting developments. Diljit later exited the project, with Boney Kapoor clarifying that the decision was mutual and primarily due to date issues.More recently, speculation emerged that Varun Dhawan might also step away from the film, though the makers have maintained that discussions are still ongoing. Amid the uncertainty, reports have also linked actors like Shahid Kapoor to the project, but no official confirmation has been made so far.
