Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment of Sunday, left his family, friends and the entire Bollywood industry in a state of shock. The talented actor, who was suffering from depression since the past few months had delivered a hit 'Chhichhore' last year.

While the makers of Sushant's upcoming film 'Dil Bechara' are aiming to release the film on the digital platform due to the outbreak of Covid-19, fans have taken to social media, demanding the film to release in theatres as a tribute to the late actor. ​A remake of Hollywood flick

Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Dil Bechara' which is helmed by Mukesh Chhabra is a remake of Hollywood flick 'The Fault in Our Stars' which was based on John Green's 2012 novel with the same title. The film also marks the directorial debut of Chhabra in Bollywood and will join the long list of Bollywood films which are a remake of Hollywood films.

​Marks the debut of Sanjana Sanghi

Sanjana Sanghi, who has worked in films like 'Rockstar', 'Fukrey Returns' and others, is all set to make her debut as the lead actress in 'Dil Bechara' opposite Sushant. The film's poster was loved by the audience and the new pairing instantly grabbed everyone's attention. Meanwhile, Sanjana had taken to social media to share a tearful post in memory of her co-star sharing details of the time they spent together on the film's set.

​Saif Ali Khan's special appearance

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has a special appearance in the Sushant and Sanjana starrer 'Dil Bechara'. According to reports, the talented actor is said to step into the shoes of the author Peter Van Houten in the film. While Chhabra has remained tight-lipped on Saif's cameo in the film, his addition has surely added more star value to the film.

​Earlier titled as 'Kizie Aur Manny'

Did you know Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara' which marks the debut of Sanjana Sanghi in Bollywood was earlier titled as 'Kizie Aur Manny'. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the new title has been inspired by one of the songs from the film which has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

​Saif on working with Sushant

In an exclusive interaction with The Times Of India, Saif Ali Khan shared his experience of working with the late actor. Talking about Sushant, he said, "Sara had always described him for being a really remarkable person. He had very refined looks. He was a good-looking guy, very talented and a little edgy. When I met him, I thought he was a little on the edge. He was interested in the same things as me in some ways." Furthermore, he added, "When I did my guest appearance in his 'Dil Bechara', I think he was quite happy with that."

He was young energetic people like Ranvir Singh and sushant for you will seem edgy , because now u hv grown old . Ranvir Singh is edgy every time we see him in videos or awards etc as per ur language to me it is energetic may be in our 30s wen we r we hv more energy then a 50 old man for u ur young wife must be edgy too
