All you need to know about Ananya Panday’s connection to Aryan Khan’s drug case
The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan on October 3, along with seven others. The agency raided a cruise ship in Mumbai on October 2 late at night and busted a drug party. Post Aryan’s arrest, his WhatsApp chats were retrieved and analysed and that’s when Ananya Panday’s name cropped up in the entire controversy. The star kids were allegedly discussing drugs in the chat. Here’s looking at Ananya’s connection to the entire drug case:

House visit
The NCB officers arrived at Ananya and Chunky Panday’s residence on October 21. Three NCB officials, including a female officer, were seen doing a search operation at her house. It is being reported that they seized her electronic gadgets for further investigation. Later, the agency issued summons to the actress and asked her to appear before the NCB office on the same day. An officer also clarified, “The investigation is going on. When NCB officials visit a person or location for questioning that does not mean the person is a culprit or being investigated. There are several procedures being followed”.

Drug chats
After the investigation started, it was reported that Aryan and Ananya were discussing drugs on chat. Ananya was grilled by the NCB officer Sameer Wankhede, who had nabbed Aryan from the cruise ship. She was questioned for almost four hours on the first day because her name appeared in WhatsApp chats with Aryan. The NCB showed her the chats with Aryan where he had asked her if arrangements for drugs could be made. To this, Ananya had replied, "I will raise" the matter. When confronted, Ananya said she was just joking with Aryan. The NCB also claimed that Ananya and Aryan regularly talked about drugs on chats. However, Ananya has denied all allegations about using and procuring contraband substances. The new reports also claimed that Ananya has likely told the NCB that she might know someone who can supply drugs or perhaps has supplied them to Aryan.
One of the reports also suggested that Ananya deleted chats before submitting her gadgets to the agency. The NCB is suspecting that parts of Ananya’s many chats including mobile chats, photos, voice notes have been most likely deleted.

Financial transactions
Apart from the drug chats, the agency is also looking into some ‘suspicious financial transactions’. NCB earlier told ANI, “Questioning of actor Ananya Panday being done over some suspicious financial transactions and also in connection with WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan. The actor was questioned regarding this yesterday”.

Questioning cancelled
After getting interrogated twice by the NCB, Ananya was asked to appear at the NCB office again on October 25. But the actress chose to skip the questioning because of her personal commitments. NCB sources told ANI, “Actor Ananya Panday is not appearing before NCB today in the ongoing drugs case. She has requested NCB for a further date due to personal commitments. NCB has accepted her request to issue her fresh summons for another date”.

Ishaan Khatter’s constant support
Ananya’s rumoured boyfriend Ishaan Khatter has reportedly been supporting her and her family during these tough times. According to the reports, he is in constant touch with her and is making sure that her family is doing fine. He was recently spotted outside Ananya’s residence after she returned from NCB’s office. Reportedly, the duo is currently in a relationship but they haven’t yet made it official.
