Akshaye Khanna has passed away at the age of 70.

was suffering from a heart ailment and breathed her last at her
Alibaug
residence. However, the exact cause of death hasn't been ascertained yet. She was declared brought dead by the Alibaug Civil Hospital on Saturday night.
According to reports, the two sons, Akshaye and
Rahul Khanna, along with their mother kept visiting their farmhouse in Mandwa. Geetanjali and Akshaye came around 11 AM on Saturday. In the afternoon, she was taken to a local doctor when she complained of uneasiness.
Geetanjali went to sleep, and between 9 and 10 pm when Akshaye checked on her, he found her body temperature had dropped. Akshaye and Rahul then took her to the civil hospital, where she was declared brought dead.
The funeral took place earlier today. Actor Vinod Khanna had passed away due to an advanced stage of bladder cancer last year. Both Geetanjali and Vinod Khanna had married in 1971 and parted away in 1985.
