Ashutosh Rana played the role of Lajja Shankar Pandey in ‘Sangharsh’ who kidnaps children and sacrifices them. His performance garnered a lot of appreciation and even today, it is considered to be one of the most powerful performances in the Indian Cinema. In the film, his character sent chills down the spine. It is still remembered by everyone.

Sadashiv Amrapurkar essayed the role of Maharani in the Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Sadak’. He managed to pull off the role flawlessly and with such ease. He was highly appreciated by the fans and critics for his on-point performance. The veteran actor also bagged several awards for the same.

Mahesh Manjrekar surprised everyone with his role as a transgender in Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Rajjo'. Time and again, Mahesh has managed to surprise his audience by doing different roles. In this film, he played the role of Begum, who runs a brothel. Despite poor box office performance, Mahesh’s character was applauded by the audiences and critics alike.

Paresh Rawal was seen essaying the role of a eunuch in ‘Tamanna’ which also featured Pooja Bhatt, Manoj Bajpayee and Sharad Kapoor. He was critically praised for his portrayal of a transgender.

Prashant Narayanan was seen playing a eunuch in Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer movie 'Murder 2'. He was seen as a psychopath serial killer who killed call girls mercilessly. Even his performance garnered a lot of appreciation from all the quarters. He is often seen doing films in the South.

Akshay Kumar will be soon seen playing a transgender in ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ which also stars Kiara Advani. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, the trailer was released recently and everyone has been praising Akshay for his transformation. In this south remake, Akshay will be seen playing a character who is possessed by a transgender spirit. It looks like an interesting watch!
