Akshay Kumar quits action for Airlift

The Akshay Kumar - starrer Airlift, that is currently under production, will probably be an image defining role for the actor who is breaking away from his action avatar completely with this film.
Sources from the movie's UAE schedule confirm that the actor has practically no action sequences. "He doesn't even have one punch in the movie. Though the film is essentially a thriller, the only action scenes are the movie's war sequences," informs our source.

"As far as Akshay is concerned, he plays a commoner (a businessman named Ranjit Katyal) and doesn't indulge in his staple punch and kick routine," the source added.
