Dr.

Sudhir Gupta

’s statement provides, “There should be no doubts over Sushant case, none at all. We examined all issues..all seven top doctors have unanimously concluded that #SushantSinghRajput died by suicide and not murder.”

Earlier, as per a Times Now report, the AIIMS chief had made a statement after looking at the pictures of SSR’s mortal remains that he didn’t die due to suicide but was murdered.

Reacting to the reports, Sushant’s sister,

Shweta Singh Kirti

had tweeted questioning the reports of AIIMS and wrote, “ WHY #SushantAIIMSTape” while their lawyer Vikas Singh wrote, “Highly perturbed with AIIMS report. Going to request CBI Director to constitute a fresh Forensic team. How could AIIMS team give a conclusive report in the absence of the body, that too on such shoddy post mortem done by Cooper hospital wherein time of death also not mentioned.”

Firstly, it will be really interesting to know how so called top forensic experts/doctors of the country have so confidently concluded the cause of a death happened three months ago, without seeing the body and only with the help of photographs, cleaned and tampered incident site, and a shoddily conducted postmortem report and a degenerated twenty percent viscera sample. Secondly it is most unprofessional on the part of AIIMS to leak its report to public in the midst of an investigation being conducted by CBI, who have only engaged them for the review of the original forensic investigation, because CBI is the actual owner of the review report and not AIIMS independently. AIIMS must be taken to task for this conduct. Lastly, I feel the exercise undertaken by AIIMS at the behest of CBI is not an actual scientific post mortal investigation due to want of the body and the immediacy of the tests needed to be done just after the death when definite cause of death can be confirmed, rather a second opinion or observation about the original findings and correctness of the report format and procedures adopted. It should be treated only as to see how experienced eyes can see things as they are presented to them about how the death may have occurred. I expected a more honest findings by AIIMS that whatever were made available to them it appears to be suicide but materials and availability timing are not sufficient to rule out any cause and leave it to CBI. Instead they might have walked the credit taking path the way they have promulgated the report before even CBI closing the case.
