We are talking about the iconic character of Indian cinema, 'Mughal-E-Azam's' Anarkali. Fifty six years after the release of K Asif's iconic film, late producer-director Sultan Ahmed's (who assisted Asif on the classic movie) wife Farah Ahmed is now working on its sequel, which is tentatively titled 'Anarkali Ki Wapasi'.

Informs a source from the production banner, 'We had attempted a few films, including a remake of our own production 'Ganga Ki Saugandh', but it didn't materialise.' Farah confirms, 'The script of 'Anarkali Ki Wapasi' was developed immediately after the release of 'Mughal-E-Azam'.
