Bollywood actress
Aditi Rao Hydari has been busy these days, shooting for her next film ‘
Bhoomi
’ with
Sanjay Dutt. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in an action-romance Tamil film ‘
Kaatru Veliyidai
’. Since making her film debut in ‘Sringaram’, the actress has been paving her way in the film industry and has even managed to bag female leads in prominent films, without a ‘godfather’ tending to her needs.
In an exclusive interview with
Bombay Times, Aditi opened up about her struggle saying, “I’ve not had any support in the industry but I’m not saying that with a sense of regret, anger or bitterness. It’s a fact.”
Although Aditi bagged big budget films like ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Wazir’ in 2016, the films had an average run at the box office. Talking about her role in the films she said, “A senior filmmaker told me that in those 15 minutes in Fitoor, I outshone XYZ. That meant a lot. For a girl like me, who works in a particular way, it’s a matter of time, luck, patience and perseverance.”
