Kriti Sanon has a choc-a-bloc slate of movies scheduled in the coming months. While she was recently shooting for ‘Bhediya’ in Arunachal Pradesh, in the coming months, Kriti will transform into Sita for ‘Adipurush’ and also sweat it out in the gym for her action-entertainer ‘Ganpath’. Kriti recently completed the shoot of ‘Bachchan Pandey’ with Akshay Kumar in Jaisalmer. The film also stars Arshad Warsi and Jacqueline Fernandez in key roles. It is the remake of 2014 Tamil film ‘Veeram’. Akshay will be seen playing the role of a gangster while Kriti will be essaying the part of a journalist. The film is scheduled to release on January 26, 2022.

Kriti will be seen essaying the role of Sita in the Om Raut directorial. She will be sharing screen space with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. While Prabhas will play the protagonist Ram, Saif has been signed on for the role of the antagonist, Lankesh. The multilingual period drama is an onscreen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. The film is slated to release in August 2022.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Mimi’ is a remake of the National Award-winning 2011 Marathi film ‘Mala Aai Vhhaychay!’ Kriti will be seen portraying the role of a surrogate mother. The actress had reportedly put on 15 kgs for her role in the film. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak and Sai Tamhankar.

Last year in December, Kriti wrapped up the shoot of ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’ with Rajkummar Rao. They have collaborated for the second time after ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. Reportedly, the storyline of the film revolves around a quirky couple who adopt parents. Directed by Abhishek Jain, the film will also feature Aparshakti Khurana, Paresh Rawal, and Ratna Pathak in key roles.

After ‘Dilwale’, Varun Dhawan and Kriti have reunited for horror-comedy film, ‘Bhediya’, which will be part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe. The first look of the film was highly appreciated by fans. The stars are currently shooting for the film in Arunachal Pradesh. The film is slated to release on April 14, 2022.

Kriti will be reuniting with her first co-star Tiger Shroff in their upcoming film, ‘Ganapath’. The actress will be performing some action scenes in the film. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the film will feature Tiger in the titular role. Recently, in an interview, Kriti revealed that she is super nervous to attempt action opposite Tiger as he is too good at it. The actress added that they will start shooting for the film in July.
