Sai Pallavi to Mohan Agashe: Famous actors who studied to become doctors

Before they graced the silver screen, these Bollywood actors were deep in medical books, practicals and white coats. Whether driven by family expectations or a genuine love for science, they spent years studying medicine before taking a completely different turn toward acting. Some completed their degrees, some didn’t but each one followed a passion that led them to fame. Their stories remind us that career paths are never linear, and success can come from the most unexpected shifts in direction.

Aditi entered Bollywood with films like 'Paheli' and 'De Dana Dan' and has since remained active in health and mental wellness advocacy. She’s also pursued further studies in psychology and wellness sciences from prestigious international institutes. He gained immense popularity for his portrayal of historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji in shows like 'Raja Shivchatrapati' and 'Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji.' His ability to bring depth and dignity to these characters stems from both his disciplined academic background and deep cultural understanding. Sai Pallavi is not only known for her natural beauty and powerful performances but also for being one of the few Indian actresses to have completed an MBBS degree. She earned her medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical University in Georgia. Even during her studies, she began appearing in films—first gaining attention in 'Premam' (2015), where her portrayal of a simple, relatable character struck a chord with millions.
