A cosy birthday in the Maldives, wedding hints dropped by Varun Dhawan: When Shraddha Kapoor and Rohan Shrestha made headlines in the past

Actress Shraddha Kapoor has been making headlines for her alleged breakup with boyfriend and celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha. It is being reported that the duo has called off their rumoured romance of 4 years. Soon after the news of their breakup started doing the rounds, Shraddha took to social media and shared her gorgeous selfie with a caption, "Aur sunao??" On the other hand, ETimes reached out to Rohan to know his reaction to the ongoing reports. He shared, "I don't talk about my personal life. I have never done it before either." Back in 2020, after Unlock 1.0, Shraddha and Rohan were seen exploring the streets of Bandra on a scooty. The couple tried to sneak out secretly but the paparazzi managed to get a glimpse. Shraddha was seen sporting a face mask and shielding herself with a cap. It was also reported that Shraddha and her photographer beau were spending a lot of time together during the pandemic.

In 2021, Varun Dhawan tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Soon after he introduced his wife officially on social media, his friends were seen congratulating the couple on their wedding. Amongst everyone, Rohan was also seen wishing the couple. He had written, "Congratulations VD and Nats. When you know you know! VD you’re a lucky guy!" Varun was quick to repost his story and tease him as he replied, "I truly am. Hope ur ready." Varun dropped a major hint which added extra fuel to Shraddha and Rohan's wedding rumours.

Shraddha Kapoor was in the Maldives last year when she attended her cousin Priyaank Sharma's wedding with Shaza Morani. Interestingly, Shraddha's birthday coincided with the wedding dates and the actress celebrated her special day with the entire family. But a few pictures of the actress from the birthday party went viral on the internet where she was seen cutting the cake while Rohan was seen with his arms wrapped around her waist. Their fans just couldn't stop gushing over their cute antics since it was the first time ever the duo got so close in public. Rohan was also a part of the family portrait which was clicked during the wedding.

After the wedding reports started doing the rounds in 2021, ETimes reached out to Shraddha's father Shakti Kapoor to know his thoughts on Rohan. He had said, "I have known his father for many, many years. Rohan visits us often, but he has not asked for Shraddha’s hand in marriage. And besides, today children decide these things on their own. If Shraddha tells me that she has chosen a life partner for herself or even if Siddhant does, I will readily agree. Why will I refuse? But at this point, they are focused on their careers. Marriage is an important decision and the way people are breaking up, it bothers me sometimes. One has to be sure before making a decision like that."

During the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, a lot of things unfolded. Top actresses like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha were summoned by the NCB for interrogation after Rhea Chakraborty took their names during the investigation. Before reaching the NCB office, Shraddha was seen at Rohan's residence. It was also reported that she chose to leave from Rohan's house for interrogation to avoid paparazzi but she eventually got clicked.
