Music lover
We have all seen Ranbir Kapoor ace the role of a musician in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Rockstar’. However, very few people know that the actor is quite passionate about music in real life too. He has reportedly been inclined towards music since his childhood days. In fact, he took training for two years to learn to play table and drum. Ranbir also learnt how to play the guitar while he was prepping up for ‘Rockstar’.
Trained dancer
Apart from his acting prowess, it is Ranbir Kapoor’s dancing that makes all the girls out there go weak in the knees. The actor reportedly got trained in jazz and ballet when he was young and he never shies away from showing off his skills in his dance numbers. Ranbir has some popular dance songs like, ‘Badtameez Dil’, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, ‘Ghagra’ and others to his credit.
Accomplished mimic
While we all have artists who mimic Ranbir Kapoor, very few know that the ‘Saawariya’ actor himself is an accomplished mimic. His portrayal of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic ‘Sanju’ was simply unmissable! Apart from Dutt, Ranbir also reportedly does a spot-on imitation of Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan.

We all know that Ranbir Kapoor assisted Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his film, ‘Black’ starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan in 2005 before making his dream Bollywood debut with ‘Saawariya’. However, very few know that he started his career in the film industry as an assistant director on the Rajiv Kapoor directorial ‘Prem Granth’. He also assisted his late father Rishi Kapoor in his directorial, ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalein’ in 1999.
Obsessed with the number 8
By now most of his fans know that Ranbir Kapoor is obsessed with the number 8. It is his lucky number. Although the exact reason for this is not known, it is partly because his mother Neetu Kapoor’s birthday falls on July 8 and the actor is quite close to his mom. The actor had once reportedly said that he fell in love with the fluid design of the number and the fact that it represents infinity. Not only this, the first Jeep that he bought in the early 2000s, also featured a single-digit plate with the number 8.
