200 DU students part of 'Half Girlfriend' shoot

Delhi University is no stranger to celeb visits and film shoots, and in the last week or so, Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have been spotted shooting in various North Campus colleges. The two have been shooting for the Mohit Suri directorial,

'Half Girlfriend'

. This particular film has made DU a big part of the shoot, and we hear that over 200 students from different colleges have been roped in to play extras, since many scenes demand the presence of DU students. A source from the shoot says, "There are over 200 DU students from different colleges of DU. We have students from

Miranda House

, Ramjas, Hindu and other colleges. Since we are shooting inside the campus, we needed these students. All of them are not part of the shoot on the same day. They come in groups. Like we have 20 students on one day, then 20 on another, and so on. The scenes demand college students, so instead of going for junior artistes, our coordinators have chosen DU students. But if we need more people even after these students, then we call junior artistes."
