Maanvi Gagroo in the lead roles has witnessed an average run at the box office in its first week. The film sees Sunny Singh playing a prematurely balding guy who struggles with his life's daily ordeals.
As per the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, on Thursday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 60 lakh on its seventh day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 10.25 crore in its first week at the box office.
The film will see poor collections in its second week. The film had averted a box office clash with Ayushmann Khurrana's '
Bala'. 'Ujda Chaman' which was initially scheduled to hit the screens on November 7 was later shifted to November 1.
The plot of the film revolves around the life of Chaman Kohli (Sunny Singh), a Hindi lecturer dealing with premature baldness at the age of 30. After facing several rejections as a prospective groom, Chaman gets on a mission to find himself a wife within a deadline or remain a celibate forever.
Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, 'Ujda Chaman' also features Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja in pivotal roles. The film hit the screens on November 1.
