’ is nearing the end of its third week in theatres. The Subhash Kapoor-directed film has collected 4.6 million USD overseas. With this, the total worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 173 crore, according to a report on Boxofficeindia.com.

The film is the second in the ‘Jolly LLB’ franchise. The first installment starred Arshad Warsi in the lead role and was a sleeper hit upon its release in 2013. ‘Jolly LLB 2’ stars Huma Qureshi as Akshay’s love interest whereas Annu Kapoor plays the rival lawyer and Saurabh Shukla, the judge. Akshay’s turn as Jagdishwar Mishra, an unscrupulous lawyer who turns over a new leaf after an unfortunate incident leaves him scarred, has earned him praise from all quarters.
