Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter', featuring Anil Kapor,
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is on its way to conclude its theatrical run. Despite a strong cast and captivating elements like music and action, the film saw a dip in collection during its time at the box office.
Releasing around the Republic Day weekend, the film collected about Rs 146.5 crore in its first week and dropped by nearly Rs 100 crore in week two, collecting Rs 41 crore. In Week 3, 'Fighter' further dropped by 65 percent to collect Rs 14 crore and in the fourth week, the film dropped by another 50 percent to collect Rs 7.25 crore. In its fifth week, 'Fighter' has earned a total collection of Rs 211.50 crore. The film was a very expensive affair for the makers, as Rs 85 crore were paid to Hrithik Roshan and Rs 20 crore to Deepika Padukone.
Hrithik has now moved his focus to 'War 2' with Aditya Chopra’s production house, where he steps into the shoes of Agent
Kabir once again. A glimpse of the same was showcased as a post credit scene for 'Tiger 3'. In 'War 2', Hrithik will lock horns with 'RRR' star Jr. NTR, with Kiara Advani essaying the lead lady.
