Sushant Singh Rajput and
Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Chhichhore’ is going all guns blazing at the box office. The film is trending well during week days too and recorded a massive jump in collections on Tuesday. ‘Chhichhore’ collected Rs 9.75 crore, owning to a 25 per cent growth in figures due to Muharram, stated a report on Boxofficeindia.com.
With this massive jump, the collection of ‘Chhichhore’ now stands at a total of Rs 52.50 crore.
The report further stated that the
Nitesh Tiwari directorial is registering some impressive weekday figures, a trend which was previously noticed with hits like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and ‘Kabir Singh’. ‘Chhichhore’ benefitted massively with positive word of mouth publicity and also the good reviews which poured in for the film.
Apart from Shraddha and Sushant, ‘Chhichhore’ also features
Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty,
Prateik Babbar, Tushar Pandey and Tahir Bhasin among others. The plot of the film is about a group of college friends, who go through life’s ups and downs.
‘Saaho’, which released on August 29, too benefitted due to Muharram and earned Rs 3 crore on its second Tuesday. The film’s total now stands at an impressive Rs 134 crore.
