Puja Joshi: "Sushant Singh Rajput was one of my favorite actors. He was an inspiration to many.
The news of his suicide has come across as a shock to me. I am at a loss of words. Speechless. Numb. This all feels extremely unreal. I still can’t believe this. I just want to tell everyone that please talk about your feelings and check on your friends every now and then and show compassion. We don’t know what the person is going through. Talking can make a really big difference. Just don’t suffer alone. Suicide is never an option. Stay strong, stay safe!"

Bharat Chawda: "I am shaken to the core with this news
He had so much potential. The past few instances of young people committing suicide and now this news categorically got me wondering, are our youths misguided or simply scared of living?
He surely had a lot in his life worth living for but we do not know what he was going through ..it may have been something deep.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide brings light to the fact that even when we see people smiling on the outside they may be carrying some invisible load, Depression is real and we should all learn to Speak Up, I am left speechless and getting over this hard reality is going to take some time, I have promised myself to be more considerate and careful towards my friends and family about how they feel on the inside Mental health needs to be taken seriously
May his soul rest in peace and my deepest condolences to his family and close ones."
Khushi Shah: "Deeply shocked to hear about the suicide of Shushant Singh Rajput. The man who inspired and taught youngsters how to live life has departed, his life was just started. He was a young, talented & rising star. This is heartbreaking. May God give strength to his family. You can never know what others are going through. Their struggles, their pain, their desires. Mental health is very important. Please be with your dear ones. Check on them often. #RIPShushantSinghRajput."
Mitra Gadhvi: "I’m totally numb at the moment. Irfaan sab, Rishi Kapoor, and now Sushant Singh Rajput that too at such a young age and commits suicide. I just can’t believe that he’s gone just like that, Ironically his last film 'Chhichore' gave away the message not to commit suicide, and then this news came out Tragic."
Durgesh Tanna: "A common man fighting the odds to make his dreams come true, that was the story of his life and his most loved films. He was the inspiration to many... can’t believe he could do this. It’s tragic and heartbreaking. May God bless his soul with peace. Urge people to take care of their loved ones, keep in touch with them, keep a check on their mental health. It's difficult times that we’re going through and mental health is very important."
Avani Soni: "Smiling doesn't necessarily mean that a person is really happy, We just never know what a person is going through. The beautiful journey from 'Kai Po Che' to Chhichhore. A great loss to our industry. RIP
#SushantSinghRajput"
Hemang Dave: "This is just unbelievable, what is going on this earth? Irfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and now Sushant Singh industry are bearing great loss this 2020 infect we all are bearing this pain ... what a graph he made and lastly he was in 'Chhichhore' were his character was against suicidal tendency and I just can't believe he did this, I just loved him as an actor at least he could have thought of his fans before taking this horrifying step ... Rest In Peace Sushant Singh Rajput you will be missed a lot ...
🏼"
Niilam Paanchal: "It is shocking..... can’t conclude what exactly went wrong and in such times any wrong theories speculated can emotionally break his family..: my condolences to the departed soul and he will be missed...."
Chintan Pandya: "I am dumbstruck to hear this! Sushant Singh Rajput turned 34 this January and had a way to go with his career graph going up and up... I remember his dialogue from Chhichhorey - "Everyone has a plan for what to do after the success but none thinks about what to do post-failure." Someone who said such dialogues and motivated everyone to embrace life can't and mustn't go this way, this soon."
Jimit Trivedi: "I am so shocked listing to this news ...every day comes with the shocking news of someone’s death ... but I still can’t believe Sushant Singh committed suicide!!!! Despite having everything, we as a society & individual are allowing depression & mental illness as a new normal of our life, just as cough & cold ...
addressing this issue is a need of the hour, we have to look around, talk to people, talk to our self and try to solve ours & our loved one's problem before they eat us .. & I strongly believe social media is playing a big role in spreading depression, it’s high time we really need to do social media distancing ... I know it’s not going to solve the problem immediately, but at least it will give us time to save our or some one's life. May Sushant’s soul rest in peace
🏻"
Shraddha Dangar: " This is extremely shocking news for the entire film fraternity, I have just no words to say."
Hardik Sanghani: "It's really shocking!! The first thought that came to my mind was...that people are really depressed within. We don't know what's going on inside their heads. People put on a brave face, fake smiles daily to make others comfortable but people are suffocating deep down...Mental health is a life or Death issue...Please check in with your loved ones and if you feel the need to consult a Psychiatrist or psychologist...PLEASE DONT FEEL ASHAMED TO DO SO.."
Raunaq Kamdar: "I'm shocked and at a total loss of words, I had met him and shot with him all day for 'Kai Po Chhe'.. although it was years ago, he was a very lively, hardworking and pleasant person. May God give him peace."
Alisha Prajapati: "I couldn’t believe it at first. I thought it must be fake news but later I got to know it’s true and I was numb, shocked, I had goosebumps, I just couldn’t digest it. He is just 34, has achieved a lot, and was so inspiring for a lot of us. How could he just decide to end his life instead of fighting? I feel this is not the way to deal with any problem you are facing, you can’t just die. You should have fought. RIP!

Kinjal Rajpriya: "Very Devastated to hear this news. Hard to believe. Terribly shocked, loosing a talented, disciplined, and hard-working actor. I have always adored all of his works. Don't know what to else to say. I hope he is in a better place now. Rip
"
Ojas Rawal: "It is deeply rattling to hear this news. Though we don't know much about his case, it is certain that we, as a society, ought to pay serious attention to mental health. People are surprised to know that the lives of entertainers are seldom as rosy as their extravagant social media pages. Nobody should feel pushed, however big the problem, to end life. May God give peace to Sushant's departed soul. What a shining talent... what a rising career... lost! This year just keeps getting worse."
Deep Dholakia: "I am numb. I have tears in my eyes. I am not being able to believe it. Why would he do that? He had Success, talent and everything. He was a brilliant actor. What can be the reason for depression? Such a lonely profession we live in. I think as an actor I feel every actor from the film industry should have friends, family. Life is not about money and success, it's about emotions and family. Life has become unpredictable even more this year. I don't know how a year is changing the fate of the entire world. I am in deep pain and sorrow. Rest in Peace Sushant Singh Rajput. You left the world in great sorrow. The film industry has started to feel empty."
Binny Sharma: "It is sad what 2020 has been throwing to us back to back.. shocked to know about Sushant Singh's demise.. met him once during 'Kai Po Che' shoot, came across as a really genuine and hard-working youngster who also kept talking about positivity and life philosophies in general.. all I want to tell people is not to take mental health issues lightly.. there is no problem in the world that cannot be solved by talking to your loved ones.. just reach out to them, and tell them everything that bothers you without hesitation.. if u think I can be of any help, my social media DMs are open to everyone as well..."
